Class schedule and live classes
Scheduling classes for live and offline courses, running them, attendance and recordings.
Schedule a class
Do this first
- In Courses & modules, press Class schedule → on the course card
- Press Schedule class
- Enter the Title, Date & time and Duration (minutes). For an offline class, say where under Venue.
- Under Teacher, pick who runs the class. An online live class has to have one.
- Press Schedule class at the bottom to save
How to tell it worked: The class shows in the course's list and on the Class schedule page in the menu. Enrolled students get a notification before it starts.
Running a live class
A live class is started by the teacher picked as its Teacher, logged in to their own account on your academy's website. No Zoom or Meet; it all runs in the browser. When a student raises a hand, the teacher can let them speak.
To teach a class yourself, tick your own name (marked you) under the course's Teachers, and pick yourself as the class's Teacher. Then log in on your academy's website with your number, and start the class from the শিক্ষকতা page.
Do this first
Attendance
Attendance for live classes is recorded on its own. In the course's class list, press Attendance next to a class to see who joined, when they left and how long they stayed.
There's no way yet to mark attendance by hand for offline classes.
Recordings
Recording starts on its own when a live class starts. A student who missed the class can watch it later from their লাইভ ক্লাস page by pressing রেকর্ডিং দেখুন. To use a video hosted somewhere else, press Add recording next to the class and paste the link under Recording URL.
Class recordings are deleted automatically after 90 days. To keep one longer, store the video somewhere else and add its link with Add recording.
