Wallet, billing and storage

How TutorEngine charges you, topping up your wallet, and what happens if a payment is missed.

How you're charged

The first 7 days are free. After that, TutorEngine's charges come out of your wallet, so it needs money in it. Students' fees don't go into this wallet; they go straight to your payment account.

  • The monthly fee is taken on the 1st of each month
  • Live classes are charged by the total hours students spent in them. Each class's Attendance shows this in the Billed column.

When the trial ends, starting new live classes and sending SMS stay off until you top up.

Top up your wallet

  1. Open Wallet & billing and press Recharge wallet
  2. Enter the Amount (BDT) and press Continue to payment. The payment page opens in a new tab.
  3. Finish paying, come back to this page and press Check status

How to tell it worked: The money is added to your Wallet balance, and Subscription shows Active.

Billing breakdown and Ledger history show where every taka came from and where it went.

If a payment is missed

If there isn't enough for the monthly fee, Subscription shows Payment due. Then, counting from that day:

WhenWhat happens
Day 0You're told the payment is due
Day 7New uploads are paused
Day 15Your academy's website goes offline
Day 45You're offered a cheaper way to keep your content
Day 75A final notice with the date videos will be deleted
Day 105Your videos are deleted

Top up any time before day 105 and everything switches back on. Only deleted videos can't be brought back.

Storage

The Storage page shows how many GB you've used and how much your plan allows. The bar changes colour as you get close to the limit. It updates by itself every 6 hours; press Refresh now to see the latest figure straight away.
