Running a live class

Starting a class, letting students speak, seeing who's watching, and ending it.

Start the class

  1. On your শিক্ষকতা page, open the class from আসন্ন ক্লাস
  2. Allow the camera and microphone if your browser asks. At this point only you can see yourself; students see nothing.
  3. Use the Microphone and Camera buttons to choose what's on
  4. When you're ready, press Start the class

How to tell it worked: ON AIR shows at the top. Students can see you now, and recording has started.

You can only start classes you've been picked to teach.

During the class

  • When a student raises a hand, their name appears under Raised hands. Press Let them speak to give them the mic, and Take back when they've finished.
  • The register shows who's watching. A student's name appears about a minute after they start watching.
  • If your connection drops, open the page again. If the class is still running, press Rejoin to get back in.

End the class

End the class closes it for everyone. Attendance is recorded for you; press উপস্থিতি দেখুন next to the class on your শিক্ষকতা page to see it. Students who missed the class can watch the recording later.
